The hot and humid trend is set to continue for Labor Day and into the work week. Expect similar conditions to that of Saturday and Sunday for your Labor Day.

Highs will reach the 90 degree mark in the afternoon hours.

Mostly sunny skies will dominate for much of the day, but there is a small (20%) chance for isolated showers in the afternoon hours. We'll remain clear through the morning hours and through lunch time before rain chances start to increase after 3 o'clock. Don't expect washout conditions, as these showers will be short lived and shouldn't lead to any accumulation. Any outdoor activities should not be impacted.

After Labor Day, the heat will continue through Wednesday with heat indices reaching into the 90's yet again. The next chance for relief returns Thursday.

A cold front will pass through the region, bringing storms back into the forecast for Thursday and into the weekend. As a result, we’ll see relief from the heat as temperatures will drop back into the 70’s and lower humidity.
