LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - As temperatures reach potentially record lows tonight, Lafayette Urban Ministry is ready to help. LUM announced on Monday that it will be will be opening the Winter Warming Station early this year.
It opens at midnight on Tuesday and it will be open every night until April 15th.
The warming stations are meant for anyone experiencing homelessness, to help them get out of the weather and into a safe and clean environment.
Those in need can stay until seven in the morning. It's located at 420 North 4th Street in Lafayette.
