LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The Lafayette Police Department is searching for a suspect in an armed robbery that happened Saturday afternoon.
Sgt. Michael Zambon said it happened around 1:25 p.m. at the Village Pantry located at 3150 Brady Lane. He said the suspect is a male wearing dark clothing, thin build and 5'5".
He said the Village Pantry clerk was stabbed, but the injuries were non-life threatening. Several viewers reported to News 18 about a heavy police presence in the area throughout the afternoon. LPD cleared the scene around 5:20 p.m.
