LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The Lafayette Police department is asking for the publics' help in four separate burglaries that occurred in the early hours of June 1. This was the same night protests were held in downtown Lafayette.
According to police, multiple subjects burglarized Best Buy, Walmart (on Commerce Drive), Verizon (on Promenade Pkwy.), and Tower Liquors.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lafayette Police Department at (765) 807-1200 or through the anonymous We-TIP hotline at 800-78-CRIME. Additionally, the Lafayette Police Department has set up the following link for the public to submit any video or photo evidence related to these crimes
A schedule protest was held on May 31 with the goal to bring a call for action against racial-injustice and honor the black lives lost at the hands of police officers. The hour and a half long protest started and ended calmly, but later that night several incidents were reported.
