I have already measured a 93 with heat index of 100. I have 91 as of 12:45 p.m. with a heat index of 99.
Highs today should reach 91-97 with heat indices 94-106.
Cumulus clouds will continue to build over the area & a few isolated to spotty storms will pop this afternoon.
Some scattered storms will bubble up Tuesday with highs 91-96 & heat indices 95-106 after 68-73 in the morning with haze & some patchy fog.
A few isolated storms are possible Wednesday-Thursday with highs 93-99 with heat indices 97-108.
Storms are likely Friday evening from possible MCS or complex of storms. A few more storms are possible along the actual cold front Saturday.
Heat wave should end by next weekend (but just barely) with highs of 85-89.
It will return next week, however & mid to upper 90s to even 100 are possible for actual air temperature.
