Highs today reached 79-83 after lows lastnight of 62-68.
Periodic rain is likely tonight through Saturday & Saturday night to Sunday AM. Some isolated thunder is possible in places at times with highs in the 70s & northeast winds 10-20 mph.
Locally-heavy rainfall is possible with a few locations picking up +1.50". Much of the area is looking at 0.60-1.50" total for tonight-Sunday AM.
Much of the rainfall departs Sunday morning, but a few showers & t'showers will bubble up Sunday with a peak in coverage at 35% with clouds & some sun.
Highs of 77-82 are likely with west-northwest wind becoming west, then southwest after lows in the 60s in the morning.
Rainfall coverage goes back up Monday with showers & some storms & highs in the 70s to lower 80s.
Wednesday & Thursday mornings look cool with lows well down into the 50s with areas of fog.
We heat up at the end of next week to next weekend. A couple of rounds of storms are possible Saturday &/or Sunday. Parameters suggest SLIGHT RISK for part of next weekend.
After the heat up & a another round of storms, there is a another cooler stretch noted in mid-August before we heat up again late August to early September.
That heat is confined to two main waves of temperatures well into the 90s. Given wetter soils & lush vegetation & flow from the wet soils of the South & warm Gulf, it should turn quite humid, as well.
