Highs Friday reached 32-37.
Tonight, area of drier air is mixing down from the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, so clearing is underway in the eastern counties.
Thoughts are that western fringe keeps clouds tonight with 29-31 there & clearing with frost & 19-25 elsewhere.
As for Saturday.....more clouds western half, more sun east. Few spits of flakes possible in west. Highs near 30 to the mid 30s with 20s Saturday night.
Sunday: Cloudy western 3/4 of area, far east sun with 31-36.
Monday & Tuesday look partly to mostly cloudy with 36-42 Monday & 37-45 Tuesday.
Wednesday looks mostly cloudy with 40-46, then some scattered showers & 43-47 Thursday.
Some scattered showers will end as snow showers Thursday night-Friday with 27-33. Local dustings/coatings possible.
Couple bouts of snow are possible next weekend, mainly Saturday night to Monday with some minor accumulation possible & highs in the 30s with lows in the 20s.
A couple more are possible Tuesday-Thursday with some snow.
Each will be Alberta Clipper systems, so no big winter storms, but blustery, windy snowfall with minor accumulations. Enough will likely fall to cause travel issues.
We should see coldest air around January 20 with lows a bit below to around 0 & pretty cold trend with some snow risk up to January 27, then burst of warmth with spring-like rain & t'storms in early February with near/record warmth possible.
