Nothing big in the weather world until late next week.....just lots of clouds daily & a few spotty flurries, snow showers to sprinkles today-Sunday. Highs will run in the 30s with lows in the 20s.
Monday-Tuesday shows lots of clouds, but dry & milder weather with nearer to 40 to the 40s.
40s with showers likely late Wednesday to Wednesday night to Thursday. The showeres will end as some snow Thursday.
Some periodic snow showers are likely next Friday to next Sunday with some minor accumulation possible with highs in the 20s to 30s.
Watch for the coldest weather of the winter perhaps around January 20-23 after a bit of snow pack is laid down. Will it be deep? Unlikely, but enough to enhance the cold to bring lows a bit below 0 to near 0. Overall January 24-30 looks rather cold with opportunities for some snow.
Looks like a couple of massive spring-like warm-ups with showers & t'storms & some potential severe risk this far north at the very end of January into early February.
However, thoughts continue to be on brief, but potent cold snap with icing event thereafter.
Big spring-like with showers & t'storms is possible after that in February.
This gives you a general idea of the sequence of events ahead.
