We are mostly sunny to sunny as of 1 p.m. with mild temperatures in the 41-47 range.  It is more like an early March day than mid-January!

Tonight looks colder with some increasing clouds & lows 20-25 with wind chills 8-14 with breezy conditions.

Friday looks breezy to windy with clouds/sun then clearing.  A couple/few flurries are possible in the northeastern counties for the early half of the day.  Highs will run 26-32 with wind chills 16-23.

Lows of 14-20 are likely Friday night-Saturday morning with diminishing winds.

Saturday should feature increasing clouds, but not much wind.  Highs of 28-33 are likely.

Sunday looks to become cloudy with east-southeast wind increasing to 10-20 mph with highs 31-35.  Morning lows should run 20-25.

Late Sunday-Sunday night through Monday shows snow to ice to rain to ice to snow.

Minor accumulations of snow & ice are possible early in the system & as the end.

If it tracks far enough south it will be all snow & ice, so that bears watching.

It is a pretty long-duration event with two to three distinct waves of precipitation.

Snow is possible Thursday.  Strength of system is unclear & thus amounts.  It will need to be watched.

Coldest night/morning of the winter is possible after that.

Much warmer weather will arrive in early February.

Temperatures look to run well-above normal overall February 3-10.

Rainfall looks above to well-above normal.

Some severe risk may get as far north as our area.

Much colder weather with ice & snow risk should occur in mid-February.  It is possible that a couple mornings may tie for coldest of the winter.

Late February looks much warmer with a period of temperatures above to well-above normal possible.
