Snow continues to accelerate rapidly to the northeast. It is taking on impressive speed in our direction!
This will overspread the area 11 p.m. & beyond with the entire viewing area now covered in snow by 7 a.m.
Here is the latest short-range, high resolution model (HRRR) now to 9 a.m.:
Only changed timing a bit to reflect the acceleration of the snow northeastward per radar & short-range model trends.
Totals stay the same. Still looks like minor blowing & drifting tomorrow afternoon through tomorrow night to Sunday morning with northeast gusts 25-28 mph at times.
If you are headed to the Colts game in Kansas City...............it will be rough on the way. 7-14" central Illinois to central Missouri. Highest totals of +12" in the St. Louis area.
