Increased snowfall totals from 1-4" to 2-5" over the viewing area with highest amounts in the southwest, lowest in the northeast.  Looks like around 5" Covington, around 4" Lafayette area, 3.5" Monticello, 2" Rochester.  5-8" amounts look to occur central Illinois to eastern Missouri.  We will watch that zone of heaviest snow to make sure there is not a shift more to the northeast.

This will fall Saturday-Saturday night.

Some additional light snow is possible mid to late next week.

There are quite a few lobes of cold air that blast into the area late January to mid-February.

GFS-FV3 has an 8-11" snow pack viewing area-wide in late January.
