GREATER LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The Interfaith Leaders of Greater Lafayette released it's "No Hate in Our State" video on Friday.
As we previously reported, ILGL asked for the community's help to put this video together after KKK fliers were found in Battle Ground last weekend. Several local legislators and candidates released statements denouncing the action.
Group leaders asked people to send in videos saying things like "No hate, no fear, everyone is welcome here" or "Love your neighbor, and everyone is my neighbor."
West Lafayette Mayor John Dennis, West Lafayette City Clerk Sana Booker and State Representative Chris Campbell are some local leaders who participated in the video, but most of the video messages are from regular citizens.
Temple Israel Rabbi Michael Harvey organized the video. He told us last week the goal was to make the voice of love louder than the voice of hate.
