INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) -- Plans are now in motion for this year's Indy Pride festival.
June is pride month but because of the ongoing pandemic, the annual in-person festival had to originally be cancelled. In response to this, the event has moved online.
This year's festival will be held on Indy Pride's website through a livestream Sunday, June 21 from 2:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m.
According to the event information, this year's celebration will focus on Black, Indigenous, and People Of Color within the LGBTQ+ community.
Some features include a drag queen fireside chat, a performance by the Phoenix Rising Dance Company and a mix of virutal dance parties.
The event is free, but donations are encouraged. Tickets can be purchased by following this link.
