MONTICELLO, Ind. (WLFI) — Indiana Beach is getting ready to open at the end of June.

This comes with the return of some old favorites.

The amusement park will have a special soft opening on June 26th and a grand reopening on June 27th.

The June 26th opening is for VIP members who can purchase tickets on Indiana Beach's website.

From June 27th - July 1st the park will operate at 50% capacity by reservation only.

After that, the park can operate at full capacity.

As we previously reported Gene Staples took over in April.

He said Taco Shack and Pronto Pub will both be back along with some other vendors.

He added he is trying to do his best to make Indiana Beach a welcoming and fun environment.

"There is a lot of exciting things happening," said Staples. "We are pressing forward and we are doing the best we can for this year considering the circumstance we are in, but hopefully it will be noticeable changes and we are changing a lot of it going back to what it was."

Staples said Indiana Beach is looking for part-time workers this summer.

You can apply on it's website at www.IndianaBeach.com.

Workers are required to wear face shields and visitors will be required to follow social distancing guidelines.
