INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Friday that 493 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Indiana.
According to ISDH, 30,409 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 1,791 people have died from the virus.
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Howard, Jasper, Montgomery, Tippecanoe, and White. White County also reported one additional COVID-19 death for a total of seven.
Intensive care units and ventilator capacities remain steady. About 37.8 percent of ICU beds and 81.4 percent of ventilators were available at hospitals throughout the state.
