INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Thursday, November 5, that 4,462 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Tippecanoe reported its highest number so far with 189 new cases reported.
According to ISDH, 196,176 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 4,269 people have died from the virus, an increase of 45. One new death was reported in each of the following counties:

- Clinton total now 17
- Fountain total now 4
- Fulton total now 13
- Pulaski total now 7
- Tippecanoe total now 18
- White total now 17
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Benton (1), Carroll (16), Cass (52), Clinton (47), Fountain (13), Fulton (14), Howard (47), Jasper (22), Miami (25), Montgomery (17), Newton (20), Pulaski (18), Tippecanoe (189) Warren (6) and White (10).

Purdue University reports 60,493 total tests given since August 1. There have been 1,893 total diagnosed cases. 334 student cases and 29 employee cases are considered active.
