INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Tuesday, March 23, 701 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 1,469,362 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 970,161, including the single-dose vaccine, are fully vaccinated.
According to ISDH, 679,079 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 12,553 people have died from the virus, an increase of 18. One new death was reported in the WLFI viewing area:

In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (1), Carroll (3), Cass (4), Clinton (3), Fountain (1), Fulton (4), Howard (24), Jasper (4), Miami (0), Montgomery (3), Newton (3), Pulaski (1), Tippecanoe (21), Warren (0), and White (1). Further data can be found here.
Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 93 active cases with 89 being students and 4 being employees. It has reported a total of 5,544 cases since it started reporting on August 1.
