INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Tuesday, September 1, that 721 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to ISDH, 94,891 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 3,093 people have died from the virus, an increase of 16. No new deaths were reported in the WLFI viewing area.

In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Benton (1), Carroll (2), Clinton (2), Fountain (2), Fulton (2), Howard (7), Jasper (1), Miami (1), Montgomery (1), Newton (1), Tippecanoe (12), and White (2).
Purdue University reports 6,290 total tests given since August 1. There have been 142 total diagnosed cases.
