INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Monday, August 3, that 582 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to ISDH, 68,433 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 2,780 people have died from the virus, an increase of 5. One new death is reported in Howard County bringing its total to 65.
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Carroll (3), Cass (1), Clinton (5), Fulton (2), Howard (6), Jasper (5), Montgomery (5), Newton (1), Pulaski (1), Tippecanoe (8), and White (2).
The intensive care unit and ventilator capacity remain steady. As of today, nearly 39.2 percent of ICU beds and nearly 84.7 percent of ventilators are available.
