INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Monday, January 25 that 2,210 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to ISDH, 613,228 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 9,352 people have died from the virus, an increase of 12. New deaths were reported in the following local counties:
- Clinton - 1 (total 44)
- Tippecanoe - 1 (total 141)
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Benton (2), Carroll (6, Cass (17), Clinton (8), Fountain (3), Fulton (6), Howard (24), Jasper (12), Miami (15), Montgomery (11), Newton (3), Pulaski (5), Tippecanoe (65), Warren (0), and White (10).

Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 166 active cases with 147 being students and 19 being employees. It has reported 4,291 total cases since it started reporting on August 1. 118,619 total tests have been given on campus.
According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 434,287 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 98,517 have received the second dose and are fully vaccinated.
