INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Wednesday, April 7, 1,260 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 1,827,696 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 1,291,190, including the single-dose vaccine, are fully vaccinated. locally, Tippecanoe County reports 27,123 have been fully vaccinated.
According to ISDH, 693,452 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 12,694 people have died from the virus, an increase of 15. No new deaths were reported in the viewing area.
In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (1), Carroll (6), Cass (6), Clinton (5), Fountain (2), Fulton (4), Howard 17), Jasper (9), Miami (0), Montgomery (2), Newton (2), Pulaski (1), Tippecanoe (60), Warren (0), and White (2). Further data can be found here.
Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 191 active cases with 182 being students and 9 being employees. It has reported a total of 5,867 cases since it started reporting on August 1.
