ISDH: Tippecanoe County reports one new death from COVID-19 and 18 new cases
INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Wednesday that 581 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Indiana.
According to ISDH, 29,274 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 1,716 people have died from the virus.
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Benton, Carroll, Cass. Clinton, Fulton, Howard, Jasper, Miami, Montgomery, Pulaski, Tippecanoe, and White. Howard County reported three new deaths from COVID-19, White County reported two new deaths, and Tippecanoe and Montgomery each reported one new death.
Intensive care units and ventilator capacities remain steady. About 39 percent of ICU beds and 80.7 percent of ventilators were available at hospitals throughout the state.
