ISDH: Tippecanoe County reports 34 new COVID-19 cases

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Tuesday, April 20, 733 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Tuesday, April 20, 733 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 2,191,407 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 1,593,765, including the single-dose vaccine, are fully vaccinated. locally, Tippecanoe County reports 35,968 have been fully vaccinated.

According to ISDH, 709,455 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 12,826 people have died from the virus, an increase of 8. One new death was reported in the viewing area:

  • Fulton - 1 (total 40)

In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (0), Carroll (2), Cass (4), Clinton (5), Fountain (1), Fulton (1), Howard (13), Jasper (4), Miami (4), Montgomery (3), Newton (0), Pulaski (2), Tippecanoe (34), Warren (4), and White (1). Further data can be found here.

Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 131 active cases with 127 being students and 4 being employees. It has reported a total of 6,067 cases since it started reporting on August 1.
