INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Wednesday, March 24, 976 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 1,496,852 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 992,664, including the single-dose vaccine, are fully vaccinated.
According to ISDH, 680,046 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 12,568 people have died from the virus, an increase of 15. Two new deaths was reported in the WLFI viewing area:
- Montgomery - 1 (total 85)
- Fountain - 1 (total 44)
In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (1), Carroll (1), Cass (7), Clinton (2), Fountain (3), Fulton (7), Howard (15), Jasper (5), Miami (5), Montgomery (13), Newton (0), Pulaski (0), Tippecanoe (34), Warren (0), and White (0). Further data can be found here.
Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 106 active cases with 102 being students and 4 being employees. It has reported a total of 5,570 cases since it started reporting on August 1.
