INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Wednesday that 409 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Indiana.
According to ISDH, 25,473 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 1,482 people have died from the virus.
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Benton, Carroll, Clinton, Jasper, Montgomery, Newton, and Tippecanoe. Montgomery County reported four additional deaths to bring the total to nine. Newton County also reported another death, bringing their total to nine as well. White Count reported an additional death, bringing its total to two. Tippecanoe reported 15 new cases as of yesterday.
Intensive care units and ventilator capacities remain steady. About 42.1 percent of ICU beds and 80.6 percent of ventilators were available at hospitals throughout the state.
