INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Wednesday, March 3, 786 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 1,031,266 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 608,638 have received the second dose and are fully vaccinated.
According to ISDH, 663,511 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 12,200 people have died from the virus, an increase of 9. New deaths have been reported in the following WLFI viewing area:

In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (0), Carroll (0), Cass (1), Clinton (4), Fountain (2), Fulton (3), Howard (16), Jasper (4), Miami (2), Montgomery (12), Newton (1), Pulaski (1) Tippecanoe (46), Warren (0), and White (1). Further data can be found here.
Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 218 active cases with 207 being students and 11 being employees. It has reported 5,248 total cases since it started reporting on August 1.
