INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Monday, March 1, 555 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 1,000,321 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 569,465 have received the second dose and are fully vaccinated.
According to ISDH, 662,213 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 12,162 people have died from the virus, an increase of 20. No new deaths have been reported in the WLFI viewing area.
In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (1), Carroll (0), Cass (1), Clinton (4), Fountain (1), Fulton (0), Howard (2), Jasper (2), Miami (2), Montgomery (3), Newton (0), Pulaski (0) Tippecanoe (24), Warren (0), and White (0). Further data can be found here.
Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 237 active cases with 224 being students and 13 being employees. It has reported 5,208 total cases since it started reporting on August 1.
