INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Friday, February 19, 1,080 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 866,680 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 402,792 have received the second dose and are fully vaccinated.

According to ISDH, 653,245 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 11,898 people have died from the virus, an increase of 44. New deaths were reported in the following local counties:
- Benton - 1 (total 13)
- Cass - 1 (total 97)
- Tippecanoe - 1 (total 194)
In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (2), Carroll (1), Cass (18), Clinton (7), Fountain (7), Fulton (3), Howard (6), Jasper (7), Miami (11), Montgomery (5), Newton (0), Pulaski (1) Tippecanoe (58), Warren (4), and White (0).

Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 241 active cases with 226 being students and 15 being employees. It has reported 4,956 total cases since it started reporting on August 1. 145,357 total tests have been given on campus.
