INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Friday that 748 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Indiana.
According to ISDH, 50,300 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 2,555 people have died from the virus, an increase of 9. One new death was reported in Clinton County.
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Jasper, Miami, Newton, and Tippecanoe.
A total of 550,562 people have been tested. The intensive care unit and ventilator capacity remain steady. As of today, nearly 37 percent of ICU beds and 84 percent of ventilators are available.
