INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Saturday, October 31, that 3,505 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19. This is the fourth straight day of having more than 3,000 new daily positive cases.
According to ISDH, 179,258 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 4,096 people have died from the virus, an increase of 46. One new death came from Fulton, Howard and Newton Counties each.
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Benton (2), Carroll (9), Cass (20), Clinton (29), Fountain (24), Fulton (4), Howard (26), Jasper (32), Miami (21), Montgomery (24), Newton (10), Pulaski (7), Tippecanoe (57), Warren (5) and White (18).

Purdue University reports 56,916 total tests given since August 1. There have been 1,734 total diagnosed cases. 361 student cases and 25 employee cases are considered active.
