INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Saturday, February 27, 897 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 981,769 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 552,241 have received the second dose and are fully vaccinated.
According to ISDH, 660,942 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 12,125 people have died from the virus, an increase of 27. New deaths have been reported in the WLFI viewing area:
Howard - 1 (total 196)
Tippecanoe - 1 (total 200)
Warren - 1 (total 13)
In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (1), Carroll (2), Cass (4), Clinton (6), Fountain (1), Fulton (3), Howard (9), Jasper (6), Miami (6), Montgomery (12), Newton (0), Pulaski (0) Tippecanoe (50), Warren (2), and White (1). Further data can be found here.
Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 262 active cases with 245 being students and 17 being employees. It has reported 5,177 total cases since it started reporting on August 1.
