INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Saturday, November 28, that 4,535 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to ISDH, 329,008 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 5,394 people have died from the virus, an increase of 66. The following WLFI counties are reporting new deaths:
- Miami - 2
- Howard - 1
- Warren - 1
- Tippecanoe - 1
- Clinton - 1
- Montgomery - 2
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Benton (6), Carroll (10), Cass (24), Clinton (13), Fountain (6), Fulton (4), Howard (63), Jasper (19), Miami (31), Montgomery (28), Newton (1), Pulaski (16), Tippecanoe (108), Warren (2), and White (24).
Currently, Newton County is still in the red. All other counties in the WLFI viewing area are orange. Click here to read more about what restrictions are in place based on their designated color zones.

Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard last reported on Nov. 24 that 79,111 total tests given since August 1. There have been 3,058 total diagnosed cases. 513 student cases and 79 employee cases are considered active.
A note on the Purdue page says the university will not update the dashboard when it is closed, specifically during the Thanksgiving holiday from November 25 through the 27th, and the winter recess from December 21st through January 1st.
