INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Saturday, March 6, 1,243 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 1,112,590 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 677,890 have received the second dose and are fully vaccinated.
According to ISDH, 1,243 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 12,299 people have died from the virus, an increase of 36. New deaths have been reported in the following WLFI viewing area:

In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (0), Carroll (0), Cass (7), Clinton (5), Fountain (3), Fulton (1), Howard (17), Jasper (7), Miami (4), Montgomery (9), Newton (1), Pulaski (0) Tippecanoe (37), Warren (0), and White (1). Further data can be found here.
Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 254 active cases with 245 being students and 9 being employees. It has reported 5,350 total cases since it started reporting on August 1.
