INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Sunday, February 28, 736 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 992,727 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 565,722 have received the second dose and are fully vaccinated.
According to ISDH, 661,673 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 12,142 people have died from the virus, an increase of 17. New deaths have been reported in the WLFI viewing area:
- Howard -1 (total 197)
- Tippecanoe - 1 (total 201)
- Warren - 1 (total 14)
In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (1), Carroll (1), Cass (10), Clinton (4), Fountain (3), Fulton (0), Howard (9), Jasper (5), Miami (5), Montgomery (5), Newton (0), Pulaski (0) Tippecanoe (23), Warren (3), and White (1). Further data can be found here.
Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 276 active cases with 256 being students and 18 being employees. It has reported 5,191 total cases since it started reporting on August 1.
