INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Sunday, February 7, 1,764 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to ISDH, 639,711 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 11,401 people have died from the virus, an increase of 55. New deaths were reported in the following local counties:
- Cass - 1 (total 92)
- Clinton - 1 (total 51)
- Fountian - 1 (total 38)
- Howard - 1 (total 173)
- Tippecanoe - 2 (total 176)
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Benton (1), Carroll (10), Cass (25), Clinton (8), Fountain (3), Fulton (5), Howard (28), Jasper (18), Miami (16), Montgomery (13), Newton (2), Pulaski (3), Tippecanoe (21), Warren (6), and White (8).

Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 287 active cases with 274 being students and 11 being employees. It has reported 4,663 total cases since it started reporting on August 1. 134,278 total tests have been given on campus.
According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 694,945 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 216,389 have received the second dose and are fully vaccinated.
