INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Saturday, February 6, 2,855 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to ISDH, 637,987 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 11,346 people have died from the virus, an increase of 67. New deaths were reported in the following local counties:
- Cass - 2 (total 91)
- Clinton - 1 (total 50)
- Fountian - 1 (total 37)
- Howard - 2 (total 172)
- Tippecanoe - 1 (total 174)
- Warrent - 1 (total 11)
- Montgomery - 1 (total 80)
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Benton (5), Carroll (11), Cass (32), Clinton (8), Fountain (11), Fulton (8), Howard (53), Jasper (14), Miami (17), Montgomery (18), Newton (3), Pulaski (9), Tippecanoe (157), Warren (3), and White (31).

Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 308 active cases with 292 being students and 16 being employees. It has reported 4,642 total cases since it started reporting on August 1. 133,532 total tests have been given on campus.
According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 681,965 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 205,712 have received the second dose and are fully vaccinated.
