INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Sunday, November 15, that 6,844 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19. This is the third time Indiana has had more than 6,000 new daily cases.
According to ISDH, 251,597 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 4,660 people have died from the virus, an increase of 22. There are no new deaths in the WLFI viewing area.
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Benton (24), Carroll (11), Cass (48), Clinton (21), Fountain (6), Fulton (25), Howard (52), Jasper (20), Miami (36), Montgomery (13), Newton (10), Pulaski (4), Tippecanoe (155), Warren (1), and White (30).

Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard has not yet been updated for Sunday. Yesterday, the university reported 69,714 total tests given since August 1. There have been 2,434 total diagnosed cases. 529 student cases and 67 employee cases are considered active.
