INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Sunday, January 10 that 5,127 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to ISDH, 563,653 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 8,613 people have died from the virus, an increase of 18. New deaths were reported in the following local counties
Howard - 1 (total 131)
Tippecanoe - 2 (total 112)
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Benton (7), Carroll (12), Cass (36), Clinton (39), Fountain (15), Fulton (24), Howard (54), Jasper (24), Miami (18), Montgomery (21), Newton (3), Pulaski (9), Tippecanoe (119), Warren (6), and White 17().
Currently, Benton, Carroll, Fountain, Montgomery, Pulaski, Warren, and White Counties are in the red. All other counties in the WLFI viewing area are orange. Click here to read more about what restrictions are in place based on their designated color zones.

Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 126 active cases with 60 being students and 66 being employees. It has reported 4,035 total cases since it started reporting on August 1. 95,686 total tests have been given on campus.
According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 128,026 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 585 have received the second dose and are fully vaccinated.
