LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — As election day draws near, voters on both sides of the aisle are making their voices heard.
President Donald Trump supporters from around the Lafayette area met up for a parade Saturday.

Organizers told News 18 hundreds of people were expected to show up. Supporters started meeting up around 1 p.m. near the southside Walmart.
Supporters from Saturday's event told News the parade is a chance to meet up with fellow voters and share their love for President Trump and for the country.
Event organizer Oscar Alvarez says he hopes it brings attention to how many supporters there are in the area.
"I want people in Lafayette to know that there are Trump supporters...we're not afraid." He told News 18. "We're not going to keep silent. We're going to show our support."
Another supporter at Saturday's event also had a message to share. She says no matter what side you're on, people are entitled to their own beliefs.
"Everybody has their own opinion...just as I do." Tina McGee told News 18. "We don't all have to agree...but they have their opinion. I have mine. I'm not the one to judge anyone."
Alvarez also told News 18 a few protesters drove by Saturday's event. He said they're open to talking to anyone.
