Howard County paramedic arrested for sexual misconduct with minor

A man from Russiaville is facing several felony charges, including sexual misconduct with a minor, child solicitation, and sexual battery.

HOWARD COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — A man from Russiaville is facing several felony charges, including sexual misconduct with a minor. According to officials, 46-year-old Chad Bowlby was arrested after police served him with an arrest warrant on Saturday.

Bowlby faces the following charges:

-Cass County: three counts of sexual misconduct with a minor

-Howard County: sexual misconduct with a minor; child solicitation; and sexual battery

An investigation revealed that during the summer of 2018 until mid-December of 2018, Bowlby allegedly committed sexual acts with a then 14-year-old girl in Howard and Cass Counties. Bowlby, a paramedic at the time of the purported crimes.

He will appear in Howard County court on March 18 and in Cass County court on March 25.
