Search continues for man who robbed Horizon Bank

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — According to West Lafayette police a man walked into Horizon Bank around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon and robbed the bank.  Employees described the gun as a handheld AR 15 type handgun.

The suspect then left the bank heading north on foot. West Lafayette police and Purdue University police are conducting an extensive search. 

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. No injuries were reported.

The bank is located at 1980 Northwestern Ave near the Faith West Community Center.
