History lecture series coming to West Lafayette

A new lecture series showcasing the history of West Lafayette starts Jan. 14.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)—A new lecture series showcasing the history of West Lafayette starts Jan. 14.

The series will have three separate events in the coming months. They will take place Sunday, Jan. 14, Feb. 11 and March 4. Each session will take place at Bruno's Pizza in West Lafayette.

The first lecture will highlight "Tank Scraps", a past tradition between freshman and sophomore classes at Purdue University.
Free pizza will be available for those who come.
