WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Lexi Fraley scored twice in Class 3A, No. 20 Harrison girls soccer's 2-0 win over Class A No. 2 Central Catholic (6-3) on Wednesday night at home.
Fraley scored in the 34th minute from the top of the penalty box. In the next minute, Fraley was awarded a penalty kick after a collision with CC goalkeeper Mia Vinarcik. Fraley scored the second and final goal of the night off of that PK.
Harrison honored 11 seniors before the game began. Senior forward Ellie Call said that the Raiders made the most of their senior night amid an uncertain 2020 season.
"In the locker room we were talking about playing like its our last game," said Call. "We're seniors and we may not be back here again. We don't know if we can keep practicing and keep being together. We have to be super careful."
