WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Rush McColley was on the golf course Monday when he got a call from Harrison's athletic director, Jerry Galema.

Galema offered McColley the job as Harrison's head basketball coach.

McColley has lived in West Lafayette for years, and says the move just makes sense.

He spent 12 years at Frontier, coaching the school's boys team for 10 years and the girls team for two seasons.

Prior to that, McColley spent three seasons as the head coach of Crawfordsville's boys basketball program.

He introduced himself to the team on Tuesday before holding his first practice.
