WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — Halloween is just around the corner. Indiana Beach wants to help you celebrate.
The park is kicking things up a notch. They've tranformed the beach into a full decked-out Halloween experience.
Guests can also enjoy a special zombie train ride throughout the park.
It's called "Halloween Horror at Indiana Beach." This weekend is the last chance for you to get in on the fun, though.
The night starts off at 6:00 with a fun dance number put on by scare actors. Following the dance, the actors travel the park looking for guests to scare.
Frankenstein's Castle and a special haunted house in the "Zombie Zone" also open up at 6:00. Those attractions are included with your ticket.
Guests can also enjoy special Halloween treats.
"At the crow's nest, we offer zombie nuggest which are little donuts that we renamed for the event." Concessionaire Jennifer Ousley told News 18. "There's a lot of different things all over the park from the north to the south end."
Ousley also told us it's been nice to see families out and having fun while keeping COVID-19 in mind. "It's just a really happy and friendly environment."
She later told us it's a fun getaway for people to enjoy.
"You really don't even know, other than seeing people in masks, that there is a pandemic going on." Ousley told us. "We see families just really enjoying themselves."
"Halloween Horror at Indiana Beach" takes place from 6:00 to close Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
