TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) -- Community members, friends and family are remembering the life of Grant House on Friday.
The 4th annual "I'm happy and I'm alive" celebration honored the late 25 year old.
The objective is to raise money for Grant's House, which will be a place for special needs kids to call home in Tippecanoe County.
Hundreds came out to show support Friday and many local businesses and organizations joined in on the celebration.
Jay and Tamara House said this warms their hearts knowing how much everyone cares about their child.
"We feel blessed," said Jay House. "We can't wait to see what this is gong to do to affects kids lives that have disabilities and we are doing our best to try and help them and everybody out here is doing the same thing."
Grant House passed away four years ago and to this day people all around the community remember his impact.
