INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb said a decision will be made this Friday if Indiana will extend its stay-at-home order.
He said during that announcement he will also release new state guidelines.
During his daily briefing, Holcomb assured a decision has not been made yet, but his team is working on how and when Indiana will reopen.
"Our Friday plan will reflect that new normal," said Gov. Holcomb. "We will not just contemplate that, but build into that all the new ways we must safely live, work and play."
Holcomb noted that social distancing has been a proven method to diminish the impact of COVID-19.
The stay-at-home order is set to expire Friday, May 1st at 11:59 p.m.
