This weekend is your chance to check out Greater Lafayette's diversity at The 23rd annual Global Fest celebration. The event will take over the streets by the Morton Community Center in West Lafayette this Saturday, Sept. 15. There will be live music, food, and dance along with cultural displays and children's activities.
New this year will be the inclusion of the 43rd International Food Bazaar. The bazaar will feature delicacies from all around and include a beer garden.
"It celebrates not just our diversity, but it celebrates the different cultures that contribute to both sides of the river actually that really make Greater Lafayette one of the choices for most people when they come to the state of Indiana," said West Lafayette Mayor John Dennis
Global Fest is free and open to the public. The event will start at noon on Saturday and wrap up at 10 PM.
