WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The second gallery walk of the year wrapped up in downtown Lafayette tonight.
The walk featured local arts, culture and community.
During each gallery walk, the local arts community meets with downtown businesses who will showcase their artwork.
The Tippecanoe Arts Federation presents the event three times a year.
This gallery walk highlighted more than twenty businesses.
Many of the artists were more than happy to meet with members of the community.
“This is where there are a lot of restaurants,” a member of a local gallery, Scott Frankenberg said. “There is a lot of interesting people that live downtown. They sort of congregate down here, especially young people and you know it’s just the right atmosphere.”
If you didn't get the chance to see the gallery walk tonight, there is one more chance September 21st.
If you are a local artist and would like your artwork to be featured head on over to tippecanoearts.org.
