CHALMERS, Ind. (WLFI) — Frontier football improved to 3-0 for the second time in two decades with a 32-18 win over Fountain Central (0-1) on Saturday afternoon.
Senior Caleb Atkinson had three touchdowns in today's victory.
Frontier started (3-0) last season under then first year head coach Troy Burgess. The Falcons had previously not started at 3-0 since their 2000 season, when the Falcons made a run at a sectional championship and finished at (9-2).
Burgess is the only Frontier head coach to begin a season at 3-0 or better in consecutive years since records began to be collected for the program in 1994.
